Our school district is committed to ensuring every family feels welcomed, informed, and supported. We know that clear communication is essential, and we want all families to access important information in the language they understand best. Our translation services are here to help you stay connected, engaged, and empowered in your child’s education.
Some of The Ways We Support Families Include
- Communications in more than 120 languages through ParentSquare
- Website translation with about 80 available languages
- Multilanguage Learner (MLL) assistance for students that focuses on learning English while also maintaining their native language
- MLL staff in every building

This program is designed to meet the needs of students whose primary language is something other than English and have demonstrated a need for additional support. Funding for this program comes from both the State of Washington and the Federal Government.

The goal of the Migrant Education Program is to ensure that all migrant students reach challenging academic standards and graduate with a high school diploma that prepares them for responsible citizenship, further learning and productive employment.
