On Thursdays we are serving local beef burger patties at both the Middle and High schools.

Local ground beef may look a little different than what you see in the store because it is higher in myoglobin. Grass-fed cattle are more active, leading to more myoglobin in their muscles. This can lead to a richer color. In addition, our local beef is less processed and lacks the artificial colors found in mass-produced meat. Be assured it is fully cooked, safe to eat and delicious!
