Welcome Back BULLDOGS!

Principal’s Message

It is hard to believe that we are starting the school year in this environment. Ending the spring, we all were looking forward to the opportunity to come back together and felt that the hybrid model was a good compromise to be able to see our students, help them navigate the content, and support them through the process of learning this way. Of course COVID-19 didn’t cooperate with our plans, but are still excited about the possibilities going forward into the future.

Middle school is an exciting time in a student’s life. We often are reminded by many parents that middle school was “the worst time in their lives”. The staff at Morgan Middle School sure gets that historical perspective and we have made it our mission to change that perspective!! We want middle school to be a time of discovery and exploration. While a virtual environment can be a barrier to so many traditions we hold dear, we are going to do our very best to ensure that students develop a connection to their teachers, to their identity as a Bulldog, and to their peers.

I don’t promise that this school year will be easy; in fact, I can promise that this will be a really challenging time for all of us. I can also promise that we will be doing everything we can to support our kids, our families, and our community in navigating this time to be able to succeed in an unusual educational environment. We want to partner with you each step of the way so that we can all succeed together.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have at michelle.bibich@esd401.org.

Let’s make this crazy year one that will be remembered as one that we all came together to support learning for everyone!

Sincerely,

Michelle Bibich

Principal
