Early Learning

Early Learning in the Ellensburg School District encompasses Preschool through 3rd Grade students, families, teachers, and collaborative community partners. In Washington State, Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)’s Early Learning work includes a partnership with the Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF).

The Ellensburg School District facilitates an ongoing effort of continuous improvement in building and implementing Preschool through 3rd Grade readiness, standards, curriculum, best practices, and professional development. A core focus of this work is to establish collaborative professional relationships between our community preschool providers, families, and school district teachers on behalf of all children. This focus includes the Developmental Preschool students and teachers in the Ellensburg School District.
